AVCREC was defined in 2007,enables recording of high definition ISDB broadcasts on existing DVD recordable discs. AVCREC compresses HD images using MPEG4 AVC recording and playback standard.

 

This application offers consumers an immediate economical option for HD content storage on DVD discs.
